Yucaipa, San Bernardino County
Yucaipa sits on a sloping bench between San Bernardino and the mountains and became a city in 1989. The Yucaipa Adobe, built in 1842, is often described as the oldest house in San Bernardino County. Just up the canyon, the apple orchards of Oak Glen have drawn fall visitors for generations, and Yucaipa Regional Park offers three small lakes for fishing and swimming.
